Playing in my Smash Book

I've been playing in my Smash Book lately - sooo fun!   I'm leading a monthly art journaling class/club/community at Treasured Memories starting in November, called "Smash Book and Beyond: Exploring Art Journaling".  (Yay!  So excited!   I'll talk more about it later.).  Anyway, I thought it would be good to play in one as an example.

Loving how it came out!   The big flower is stamped, the blue swirls are the back of a scrapbook paper and misted, and the pocketwatch in the lower left corner is one of the new Prima flocked rub-ons, which I then added a bit of chalk to (just because it didn't show up well).   This was inpired by an Amy Tangerine page.

A side note on those Prima flocked rub-ons:  they look great, but they are a devil to get on - plan on spending some time rubbing!    Theoretically you can use the reverse image after you apply it, but you have to attach it with the plastic backing on it still, and I didn't care for the look.

Anyway, hope you are having a great week-end of crafting and playing and enjoying life!
