Apron Synergy

There's so many cute aprons around lately; I've been itching to make one, but didn't really have a reason to.   Plus, I didn't really want to make the base, I just wanted to decorate it (I've done enough clothes sewing to know that it's not my thing.)    Then, like a summer rain on thirsty flowers, two things came wonderfully together -

This super-cute apron went on sale on Jenny Doh's site.   AND I'm going to a Pam Garrison class this week-end.    CLEARLY it was time to break out the Liberty prints and vintage sheets.

The vintage embroidered piece at the waist is a pocket.    I can't wait to wear it and get paint all over it to break it in!
